The port-resort of Cobh is gateway to the great Irish trading city of Cork. Day Three
The Scillies are one of Britain's most verdant corners, bursting into colour some weeks before the rest of the country. Go ashore to explore tiny Hugh Town on St Mary's and the flower-strewn byways beyond. Take an excursion to stunning Tresco, where the world-famous Abbey Gardens house Britain's finest sub-tropical plant collection.
Day Four
Today Discovery anchors off the pretty capital of sun-kissed Jersey. Step ashore to explore the shops and stores, or take an excursion to discover the island, which is also home to the world-renowned Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust.
Day Five
The exquisite little port of Honfleur, with its picturesque old harbour, is the entrance to the stunning Normandy countryside. An excursion will be offered to the Impressionist painter Monet's beautiful house and garden at Giverny, the inspiration for many of the artist's most famous works.
Day Six
Today is spent at sea.
Day Seven

MV Discovery
In 2013, 20,000-tonne Discovery sets out on a series of exciting departures from ports around the UK, on her first season of cruises. With her classic profile, eight passenger decks, and accommodation for 700 passengers, Discovery is a smaller ship built in traditional style, and offers the perfect 'home from home' for a memorable holiday.
