Day Two
Today is spent at sea, enjoying all of Discovery's many amenities and getting to know your fellow passengers.
Day Three
The Norwegian capital welcomes Discovery today. Enjoy the scenic approach through the Oslofjord, then step ashore to explore the friendly city. Perhaps join a shore excursion to the wonderful Viking Ships museum, or to the Kon-Tiki museum, where famed explorer Thor Heyerdahl's craft is on display.
Day Four
"Wonderful, wonderful" Copenhagen is our next port of call. Spend some time strolling through the magical surroundings of 'Tivoli', the Danish capital's fabled pleasure gardens, in the heart of the city. Don't miss the famous 'Little Mermaid', the Royal Palace or colourful Nyhavn.
Day Five
Today is spent at sea. Take the opportunity to learn a new skill from an expert in one of our 'Super Craft' sessions, which will take place throughout the voyage.
Day Six
Be on deck early this morning as Discovery passes the myriad islands surrounding the Swedish capital, Stockholm. The city itself is built across 14 such islets, and is best explored on foot. One third water, one third city and one third green landscape, Stockholm offers a wonderful mix of historic sights, labyrinthine cobbled streets and fine parks.
Day Seven
Step ashore this afternoon to explore the wonderful port city of Helsinki, where the City Hall overlooks the fresh fish stalls and historic, covered Market Hall in Market Square. Stroll through Esplanade Park, and take in the panoramic views of the city and the sea beyond from the cathedral tower before we set sail once more.
Days Eight to Ten
Perhaps the highlight of the cruise, today you dock in magnificent, historic St Petersburg. Discover the incomparable Hermitage Museum, the Haymarket area of the city, still redolent with scenes from Dostoyevsky's novels, and the Marinsky Theatre, home to the world renowned 'Kirov' Ballet. You'll also have the opportunity discover magical Moscow on an overnight excursion, or to visit the fabled Summer Palace at Petrodvorets.
Day Eleven
Today we'll arrive in beautiful Tallinn. Step back in time as you explore the enchanting Estonian capital with its perfectly preserved Old Town, winding cobblestone streets full of storybook houses, steepled churches and ancient buildings, all watched over by Toompea Castle.
Day Twelve
Spend a relaxing day at sea, enjoying life on board Discovery.
Day Thirteen
This morning Discovery arrives in Warnemunde, gateway to the city of Rostock. Discover the charming gabled houses and historic Neuer Markt, or join the optional excursion to Berlin. Take in the city's fascinating history - from the Brandenburg Gate and the great 1926 Olympic Stadiumand to Hitler's Bunker and Checkpoint Charlie - before returning to Discovery.
Day Fourteen

MV Discovery
In 2013, 20,000-tonne Discovery sets out on a series of exciting departures from ports around the UK, on her first season of cruises. With her classic profile, eight passenger decks, and accommodation for 700 passengers, Discovery is a smaller ship built in traditional style, and offers the perfect 'home from home' for a memorable holiday.
