Travel to Newcastle to board Ocean Countess, in time for her afternoon sailing.
Day Two
Today is spent at sea, enjoying life on board and making the most of Ocean Countess.
Day Three
Ocean Countess arrives in Flam, from where you might board the world famous Flamsbana Mountain Railway for the unforgettable journey to Myrdal. Later this afternoon we head into the spectacular Sognefjord, the world's longest and deepest.
Day Four
Discover exquisite Geirangerfjord today. One of the most beautiful, its twists and turns are marked by several crashing waterfalls and ancient and beguiling fjord-side villages in truly breathtaking settings. Disembark in Geiranger to take in the beauty of it all, or to enjoy an excursion inland.
Day Five
Today Ocean Countess calls at Olden, the stopping off point for a trip through the beautiful surrounding countryside to the famous Briksdal Glacier, part of the vast icy mass of the Jostedalsbreen ice-pack, which broods over the eastern reaches of the fjord.
Day Six
This afternoon Ocean Countess docks in Bergen - an ancient Hanseatic city of cobbled streets and medieval houses, and birthplace of composer Edvard Grieg. Visit the vibrant harbour and fish market, stroll past the wooden warehouses of Bryggen and take the Floibanen funicular to the summit of 'Mount' Floyen.
Day Seven
A final day is spent at sea, no doubt reliving the memories of the past few days as Ocean Countess cruises home.
