Make your way to Hull and embark Azores, then enjoy a first dinner on board as we set sail this evening.
Get to know Azores and your fellow voyagers on a day spent cruising north and east.
Stylish Copenhagen, home to the famous Tivoli Gardens, and forever associated with Hans Christian Andersen, is our first marvellous port of call. Despite its reputation as a young and thriving metropolis, it's actually one of Europe's oldest cities, with a rich history reflected in its splendid buildings and ancient streets.
This morning Azores arrives in Warnemunde, gateway to the city of Rostock. Discover the port's charming gabled houses and historic Neuer Markt, or join the optional excursion to Berlin. Take in the city's fascinating history - from the Brandenburg Gate and the great 1926 Olympic Stadium to Hitler's Bunker and Checkpoint Charlie - before returning to Azores, ready to sail, this evening.
Spend another day at sea, relaxing and enjoying Azores' on-board amenities.
Today we'll arrive in beautiful Tallinn. Step back in time as you explore the enchanting Estonian capital with its perfectly preserved old town, winding cobblestone streets full of storybook houses, steepled churches and ancient buildings, all watched over by Toompea Castle.
Days Seven and Eight
Azores will spend two days in St Petersburg, one of the world's most glorious cities. Explore its incomparable Hermitage Museum, stroll down its wide canal-side boulevards, and soak up the modern 'European' atmosphere. You'll have the chance to explore the city's Haymarket, familiar from scenes in Dostoyevsky's novels, to gaze in awe at the opulence of the Marinsky Theatre, home to the world-renowned Kirov Ballet, and to visit the famous Summer Palace at Petrodvorets.
Step ashore this morning to explore the wonderful port city of Helsinki, Finland's elegant capital. Explore the harbour-side fish market, take a stroll in nearby Esplanade Park, and don't miss the monumental neo-Classical buildings of stunning Senate Square, which have played the part of Moscow in many Cold War movies.
Azores will call at Nynashamn, this morning, and you'll have the chance to head to Stockholm. Best explored on foot, the Swedish capital spans 14 islets and boasts a wonderful mix of historic sights and fine city parks. Its ancient heart is Gamla Stan, a beguiling labyrinth of cobbled streets, shops, cafes and restaurants.
Days 11 and 12
The final two days of your cruise are spent at sea, relaxing and enjoying hopefully sunny skies, before Azores arrives in Holtenau to begin her transit of the famous Kiel Canal.
Azores arrives back in Hull at the end of your cruise.
Beautiful, 550-passenger MV Azores is every inch the perfect cruise vessel. Originally a Transatlantic liner, now restored and lovingly maintained as a premium-rated cruise ship, Azores is both small enough to offer a friendly atmosphere, and large enough to offer a relaxed environment to ensure your holiday enjoyment. She's every inch the perfect home from home for your memorable cruise holiday.
