Day Two
Today is spent at sea, enjoying the atmosphere on board and getting to know Marco Polo's wonderful on-board amenities.
Day Three
ThreeHardangerfjord stretches over 100 kilometres into the Norwegian interior, and this morning Marco Polo heads into its stunning landscape. Discover a world where sheer, forested mountainsides plunge into still waters as Marco Polo heads to Eidfjord, from where you can take an excursion to the towering Voringfossen waterfalls.
Day Four
The remote village of Flam is set in one of mighty Sognefjord's remotest corners. From here, you might enjoy an unforgettable 'Norway in a Nutshell' excursion, boarding the world famous Flamsbana Mountain Railway, for the beautiful journey to Myrdal, before joining a coach to travel through yet more breathtaking scenery
Day Five
Awake as Marco Polo cruises through Sognefjord to glorious, remote Fjaerlandsfjord. Here we'll stop in the unique 'book village' of Mundal, where a hive of antiquarian bookshops cluster together in ancient wooden buildings. Explore, or take a shore excursion and visit the fascinating Glacier Museum at the edge of the Josterdalsbreen glacier before re-joining the ship in idyllic Balestrand.
Day Six
Today Marco Polo calls at Olden, the stopping off point for a shore excursion through more almost unimaginably beautiful countryside to the famous Briksdal Glacier, part of the vast icy mass of the Josterdalsbreen glacier, which broods over the eastern reaches of the fjord.
Day Seven
This morning Marco Polo docks in Bergen - an ancient Hanseatic city of cobbled streets and medieval houses, and birthplace of composer Edvard Grieg. Visit the vibrant harbour and fish market, stroll past the wooden warehouses of Bryggen and take the Floibanen funicular to the summit of 'Mount' Floyen.
Day Eight
A final day is spent cruising under hopefully sunny skies.
Day Nine
Marco Polo arrives back in Tilbury at the end of the memorable voyage, and you'll bid farewell and make your way home.

Your cabin will be looked after your steward/stewardess and housekeeper, who will ensure that beds are made, towels are changed and toiletries replenished.
