Step back in time as you discover the historic 1930s boardwalk with its quirky wooden rollercoaster.

Day Four

Journey south today, via the Monterey peninsular - home to Cannery Row - Clint Eastwood's beloved Carmel, and the vertiginous, scenic glories of the Pacific Coast Highway and Big Sur. You'll end with a visit to the wildly extravagant Hearst Castle, magnificent 'holiday home' of the infamous newspaper magnate, before overnighting in Santa Barbara.

Day Five

Continue south, past Malibu beach and into Los Angeles, making your way to Hollywood. Get to know the star-studded streets of 'Tinseltown' on our included tour, before heading to Buena Park for a two-night stay.

Day Six

Join today's optional excursion to the laid-back city of San Diego. Explore 'America's Finest City' where highlights include restored Downtown, the Santa Fe Railroad Depot, and the Gaslamp District, which boasts a lively collection of restaurants, bars and boutiques.

Day Seven

After a relaxed morning, transfer to the port, to board Carnival Miracle for the fun-packed cruise south, past the glorious coast of Baja California.

Today is spent at sea, enjoying all the ship's many on-board amenities, soaking up the sun, and relaxing, Carnival-style.
