Leaving the local area early in the morning we'll head to our hotel. Arriving in the late afternoon, you'll have time to relax and get ready for the evening ahead. Later, we'll make our way to Kidderminster, home of the Severn Valley railway, where the characters of the evening performance will be waiting on the platform to greet us. Keep your eyes peeled and be sure to use the opportunity to quiz the suspects before you board the train.
At 7.20pm we'll take our seats on the steam train and set off for our journey to Bridgnorth. By all means enjoy your meal, but keep your wits about you - some of your fellow passengers are up to no good, and any snippet of overheard conversation or unusual act may be a vital clue. On arrival at Bridgnorth you may wish to swap clues and suspicions with fellow guests, or perhaps alight the train and enjoy a pint of real ale at the station bar. But don't relax your guard - the murderer(s) may take any opportunity to surprise their next victim. The action continues during the return journey. Interrogate the suspects over dessert, collect all the evidence and solve the crime. As the whodunnit murder comes to a close, the winning individual will receive a prize for their acute observation and . detective work before we arrive back in Kidderminster at about 10:30.
After a leisurely breakfast, we'll travel to Worcester where you'll have the chance to browse the shops and visit the cathedral before having lunch (payable locally). We'll continue the journey home, arriving back in the local area by early to mid evening.
You will be staying in a three-star hotel in the Birmingham and Midlands area, such as the Quality Hotel, Dudley and the Apollo Hotel, Birmingham. All bedrooms will have private facilities, TV, radios and telephones, and your hotel will also have a good bar and restaurant.
