Day One
Make your way to Humberside for embarkation and this evening's sailing.
Day Two
Today is spent at sea, enjoying the atmosphere on board and getting to know Ocean Countess and your fellow passengers.
Day Three
This morning Ocean Countess cruises into beautiful Romsdalfjord, making her way to the port-town of Andalsnes. Take an excursion over the vertiginous Trollstigen (Troll's Ladder), a breathtaking road into the Valldal valley, or perhaps visit the famous wooden Rodven stave church in its dreamy setting beside the fjord.
Day Four
Today Ocean Countess calls at Olden. Take a trip through the almost unimaginably beautiful surrounding countryside to the famous Briksdal Glacier, part of the vast icy mass of the Josterdalsbreen Glacier, which broods over the eastern reaches of the fjord.
Day Five
Ocean Countess navigates through mighty Sognefjord, cruising to the tributary Lustrafjord. From here an optional shore excursion can take you into the stunning interior, either over the spectacularly scenic ancient trading route of the Sognefjellsweg or to the awe-inspiring Nigardsbreen glacier.
Day Six
This morning Ocean Countess docks in Bergen - an ancient Hanseatic city of cobbled streets and medieval houses, and birthplace of composer Edvard Grieg. Visit the vibrant harbour and fish market, stroll past the wooden warehouses of Bryggen and take the Floibanen funicular to the summit of 'Mount' Floyen.
Day Seven
Today is spent at sea, no doubt swapping memories of your trip with fellow passengers, as Ocean Countess cruises home.
Day Eight
Ocean Countess arrives back in Hull at the end of the memorable voyage, and you'll bid farewell and make your way home.
