Day One
Make your way to Humberside for embarkation and this evening's sailing.
Day Two
Today is spent at sea, enjoying the atmosphere on board and getting to know Ocean Countess and your fellow passengers.
Day Three
Hardangerfjord stretches over 100 kilometres into the Norwegian interior. Be on deck early this morning as Ocean Countess heads into this stunning landscape where sheer, forested mountainsides plunge into the still waters.
Our first port is tiny Ulvik, an oasis of tranquillity far removed from our hectic world. Enjoy an overland excursion through the almost unimaginably beautiful countryside, then re-join Ocean Countess in Eidfjord, from where you can take an excursion to the towering Voringfossen waterfalls.
Day Four
This morning Ocean Countess docks in Bergen - an ancient Hanseatic city of cobbled streets and medieval houses, and birthplace of composer Edvard Grieg. Visit the vibrant harbour and fish market, stroll past the wooden warehouses of Bryggen and take the Floibanen funicular to the summit of 'Mount' Floyen.
Day Five
This morning we negotiate a path through the narrow fingers of Sognefjord, the world's largest and deepest fjord, heading to its most remote corner, at Flam. Here you can board the world-famous Flamsbana Mountain Railway for an unforgettable six-mile journey to Myrdal. In the afternoon we'll disembark at Vik from where you'll be able to travel by land to the popular resort of Voss.
Day Six
The prosperous former fishing capital of Stavanger is Ocean Countess's final landfall. Step ashore to wander, taking in the fresh fish and flower market of the harbour-side square Torget, or perhaps take an excursion to nearby Lysefjord to marvel at the towering Preikestolen rock formation. This afternoon, Ocean Countess turns south, beginning her journey home.
Day Seven
Today is spent at sea, no doubt swapping memories of your trip with fellow passengers, as Ocean Countess cruises home.
Day Eight
Ocean Countess arrives back in Hull at the end of the memorable voyage, and you'll bid farewell and make your way home.
