Day One
Make your way to Tilbury for embarkation and this evening's sailing.

Day Two
Today is spent at sea, enjoying the atmosphere on board and getting to know Marco Polo's wonderful on-board amenities.

Day Three
Hardangerfjord stretches over 100 kilometres into the Norwegian interior. Be on deck early this morning as Marco Polo heads into this stunning landscape where sheer, forested mountainsides plunge into the still waters. Our first port is tiny Ulvik, an oasis of tranquillity far removed from our hectic world. Enjoy an overland excursion through the almost unimaginably beautiful countryside, then re-join Marco Polo in Eidfjord, from where you can take an excursion to the towering Voringfossen waterfalls.

Day Four
Awake as Marco Polo cruises through the narrow fingers of mighty Sognefjord, the world's largest and deepest fjord. This scenic route takes us to Flam, the remotest corner of the fjord. From here, you can board the world famous Flamsbana Mountain Railway to witness the sheer beauty of the journey to Myrdal.Later this evening, enjoy another breathtaking cruise as we float into wondrously scenic Naeroyfjord.

Day Five
Geirangerfjord is one of the smallest, but most beautiful fjords, its twists and turns marked by crashing waterfalls and ancient and beguiling villages Hellesylt and Geiranger. Disembark at Hellesylt to enjoy an unforgettable overland excursion, or remain aboard for a compelling passage along the glorious fjord.

Day Six
This morning Marco Polo docks in Bergen - an ancient Hanseatic city of cobbled streets and medieval houses, and birthplace of composer Edvard Grieg. Visit the vibrant harbour and fish market, stroll past the wooden warehouses of Bryggen and take the Floibanen funicular to the summit of 'Mount' Floyen.

Day Seven
Today is spent at sea, no doubt swapping memories with fellow passengers before a last evening's entertainment on board.

Day Eight
Marco Polo arrives back in Tilbury at the end of a memorable voyage.
