Make your way to Newcastle for embarkation and this evening's sailing.
Day Two
Today is spent at sea, with a host of diversions and entertainment to enjoy on board Marco Polo.
Day Three
Exquisite Honfleur, with its picturesque harbour surrounded by terraces of gabled houses, lies at the mouth of the Seine, and is the gateway to the stunning Normandy countryside. Explore this favourite retreat of French Impressionists, or venture further afield, perhaps to the famous Normandy beaches or to the historic 'Joan of Arc' city of Rouen.
Day Four
Marco Polo anchors off St Helier, the pretty capital of sun-kissed Jersey, this morning. Step ashore to explore the shops and stores, or take an excursion to discover the island, which is also home to the world-renowned Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust.
Day Five
This morning finds us in the fabled Isles of Scilly. Marco Polo anchors in still blue waters, giving you the opportunity to go ashore to explore Hugh Town on St Mary's and the flower-strewn byways beyond, and stunning Tresco, where the world famous Abbey Gardens house Britain's finest subtropical plant collection.
Day Six
Today Marco Polo stops in Milford Haven, offering you the chance to explore the stunning Pembrokeshire coastline and exquisite St David's, both easily accessible on a shore excursion.
Day Seven
Marco Polo lies at anchor off the great city of Belfast today. Step ashore to explore the historic city centre, see the sensational new Titanic Quarter, or join an excursion to the wild Antrim coast, and discover the wonder of nature known as the Giant's Causeway, with its thirty-seven thousand basalt columns.
Day Eight
The beautiful island of Mull offers breathtaking scenery, abundant wildlife and a spectacular coastline. The small town of Tobermory, familiar to many, with its picturesque, multicoloured houses encircling the waterfront, is a delightful place to explore, as is nearby famous Duart Castle, seat of Clan Maclean.
Day Nine
Marco Polo arrives in Kirkwall, the historic capital of Orkney. Wonder the meandering streets and marvel at the magnificent St Magnus Cathedral. Alternatively, join an excursion to fabled Scapa Flow, Churchill's famous Barriers, or the Italian Chapel. Other excursions include highlights of the island's unique mix of history, archaeology, crafts and wildlife.
Day 10
This morning we'll tie up in the great natural harbour at Invergordon on Scotland's rugged East Coast. Step ashore to explore, or join a shore excursion, perhaps to Inverness in search of Nessie. Golfers may head to the fine course at nearby Dornoch, while whisky connoisseurs can make a pilgrimage to the celebrated Ord Distillery

Return, this morning, to Newcastle, at the end of a wonderful Round Britain Voyage.
