The gloriously scenic Austrian Tyrol is a classic winter-wonderland. Join us to discover it and to visit the exquisite Christmas market that stands in its majestic capital Innsbruck, offering traditional fare from stalls beneath the city's famous 'Golden Roof'.

Day One
Fly to Munich and come with us into the heart of the city. Spend a couple of hours exploring the magical Christmas Markets here before we head south towards the snow-capped Alps and to our hotels the beautiful Tyrol.
Day Two
This morning we'll visit the beautiful Tyrolean capital, Innsbruck. A wonderful Christmas Market takes place here, in the shadow of the city's famed 'Golden Roof'. You'll have time to explore this, and perhaps to join our optional excursion to the spectacular Bergisel ski-jump, which offers breathtaking views of the city and its surrounding mountains.
Day Three
Get to know Fugen a little better, soaking up the atmosphere of this traditional Tyrolean village, which sits at the entrance to the stunning Zillertal Alps beneath the Fugenberg mountain. Relax in the new leisure and 'wellness' centre, with its newly developed thermal baths, or enjoy our optional horse-drawn sleigh ride excursion.
Day Four
Our final optional excursion is to Salzburg, birthplace of Mozart. Beneath the imposing Hohensalzburg castle and beside the Salzach river, Salzburg is a treasure-trove of onion-domed churches, elegant squares and cobbled thoroughfares. After a guided walking tour you'll have time to wander the city's Christmas market, held in the superb setting of the city's stunning Cathedral Square. Shop for traditional handicrafts, tree ornaments and unusual decorations before we return to Fugen.
Day Five
Transfer back to Munich airport and check in for your flight home.
