Visits are made by coach to the stunningly pretty town of Annecy itself, majestic Mont Blanc and Chamonix, Lake Geneva, the spa town of Evian, the medieval village of Yvoire and Geneva.

PLEASE NOTE: As with most trains, passengers are responsible for carrying baggage onto and off the train. Baggage can be stored on overhead shelves or at the entrance to the carriages. Trollies are available at St Pancras and Lille, but bags do need to be carried on to the platform.
5-night option
Day 1
Travel by Eurostar from St Pancras or Ebbsfleet to Lille and onwards to Lyon by TGV. On arrival transfer by coach (approx. 2 hours) under tour manager's direction to hotel for check in for 5-night stay on dinner, bed and continental breakfast basis.
Day 2
Full day tour to Chamonix.
Day 3
Full day in Annecy.
Day 4
Full day tour to Lake Geneva including Evian and Yvoire.
Day 5
Full day tour to Geneva.
Day 6
Travel by TGV from Lyon to Lille and onwards by Eurostar to Ebbsfleet/St Pancras.

Please note: For 2013 we have decided to use Lyon as the gateway for Annecy for two important reasons - Firstly, the changeover in Lille is much easier and quicker than in Paris (and is much preferred according to client feedback) so the extra transfer time is partly offset by a shorter connection time in Lille. Secondly, the departure time necessary to connect with the Annecy train is very early (07.00) due to changes to the French train schedule and our arrival at the hotel would be very late, inconvient options in both cases. The transfer time by coach from Lyon is approximately 2 hours which means arrival at the hotel in good time for dinner.

The hotel is located on the lake and facilities include extensive grounds, swimming pool (seasonal opening), bar, restaurant and comfortable rooms with all modern amenities. Please note that there is no lift at the hotel.
