Visits are made by coach to the stunningly pretty town of Annecy itself, majestic Mont Blanc and Chamonix, Lake Geneva, the spa towns of Evian and Thonon, the medieval village of Yvoire and Geneva. For 2012, in response to comments from several customers, we also continued to offer an option on some specified dates to stay for 6 nights/7 days, with a full free day in the middle of the itinerary to explore the magical town of Annecy and its lake.

- Holiday insurance Standard Premier/1st Class upgrade on Eurostar/TGV. On the Eurostar this constitutes upgraded seating and light meal with complimentary drink with upgraded seating only on the French railway leg

PLEASE NOTE: As with most trains, passengers are responsible for carrying baggage onto and off the train. Baggage can be stored on overhead shelves or at the entrance to the carriages. Trollies are available at St Pancras and Lille, but bags do need to be carried on to the platform.
PLEASE NOTE 2: Eurostar have changed their upgraded service from September 2010 from "Leisure Select" to a new service that they are branding as "Standard Premier." This service includes the upgraded seating on the train but now includes only a cold, light meal and a drink.

Les Grillons Hotel, Talloires
The 3-star Les Grillons Hotel is located on the edge of the lakeside village of Talloires about 10km south of the town of Annecy. The hotel is located on the lake with some views havig a lake view. Facilities include extensive grounds, swimiming pool (seasonal opening), bar, restaurant and comfortable rooms with all modern amenities. Please note that there is no lift at the hotel.
