A great holiday and a lovely group of people. We all found a common curiosity about Cuba and how it ticks. There was a lot of long trips in the coach but I guess thats unavoidable. The trip guide was excellent.
The trip far exceeded my expectations - the programme was well thought out and our guide very conscientious. Considering the standard of the hotels we stayed in, it seemed to me to be very good value for money.
The itinerary of the trip gave good insight into Cuban life and history. One of the most interesting side trips was the walking tour of the tobacco plantation in the Vinales Valley. We also enjoyed the walk around the garden in Vinales. More time could have been spent in Trinidad to allow us to explore and eat lunch. There was at least 2 occasions when lunch was very late or missed altogether. The rour guide was very friendly and informative and made every effor to see we had a most enjoyable trip.
