  • The services of a Newmarket tour manager

Day one

Fly to Croatia, meet your Newmarket tour manager and transfer to your hotel or apartment.

Day two

Spend today at leisure, taking advantage of your resort's amenities and exploring the surroundings.

Day three

View Dubrovnik and the Adriatic beyond from the city's walls, on today's optional excursion. You'll also see the medieval old town, busy Luza square, Sponza palace and the Franciscan monastery, which houses Europe's oldest pharmacy. The afternoon is free for you to sightsee and shop at your leisure.

Day four

See the last remaining Mediterranean wetlands, on the River Neret, on today's optional full-day excursion by coach. You'll then journey into the narrowing river gorge to Bosnia-Herzegovina, and the Bosnian city of Mostar. Wander Mostar's restored streets, visit the 17th-century Koski Mehmed Pasha mosque, and perhaps purchase some local craftware from the nearby market, before returning to your resort.

Day five

Drive south on today's full-day optional excursion and see Montenegro before continuing to the Bay of Kotor, Southern Europe's largest fjord, and to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Kotor itself. You'll also visit Cetinje, with its monastery and Royal palace, and one of the oldest settlements in the Adriatic, Budva.

Day six

Cruise to the Elaphiti, or 'Deer Islands' on the Croatian coast on today's optional tour and visit Kolocep, with its sandy beach, and perhaps - depending on the captain's decision - neighbouring Lopud, former watering hole of Dubrovnik's nobility. The afternoon is free for you to explore at leisure.

Day seven

Another free day.

Day eight

We leave Croatia, today, and transfer to the airport for the return flight.
