Day Two
Today is spent at sea, enjoying the atmosphere on board and getting to know 'Marco Polo"s wonderful on-board amenities.
Day Three
Hardangerfjord stretches over 100 kilometres into the Norwegian interior. Be on deck early this morning as 'Marco Polo' heads into this stunning landscape where sheer, forested mountainsides plunge into the still waters. Our port here is tiny Ulvik, an oasis of tranquillity far removed from our hectic world.Enjoy an overland excursion through the almost unimaginably beautiful countryside, then re-join 'Marco Polo' in Eidfjord, from where you can take an excursion to the towering Voringfossen waterfalls.
Day Four
As we negotiate a path through the narrow fingers of Sognefjord, the world's largest and deepest fjord, you'll be faced with a wonderfully difficult choice. Disembark at Vik and travel by land to the popular resort of Voss, or stay on board and cruise through the fjord's most remote corners to Flam, where you can board the world-famous Flamsbana Mountain Railway for an unforgettable six-mile journey to Myrdal.
Day Five
This morning 'Marco Polo' docks in Bergen - an ancient Hanseatic city of cobbled streets and medieval houses, and birthplace of composer Edvard Grieg. Visit the vibrant harbour and fish market, stroll past the wooden warehouses of Bryggen and take the Floibanen funicular to the summit of 'Mount' Floyen.
Day Six
Today is spent at sea, no doubt swapping memories of with fellow passengers, and enjoying a last evening's entertainment on board.
Day Seven
'Marco Polo' arrives back in Tilbury at the end of the memorable voyage, and you'll bid farewell and make your way home.

Cabins have a variety of twin and double beds, with upper berths for third and fourth sharing passengers. Outside cabins offer porthole or larger windows. Your cabin will be looked after your steward/stewardess and housekeeper, who will ensure that beds are made, towels are changed and toiletries replenished. All cabins feature 110v and 220v current and have an electrical socket. Even in the most economical cabins, the standard features are impressive.
