Board Azores in Liverpool before she sets sail this evening.
Today is spent at sea, getting to know your fellow passengers and enjoying life on board as you sail north.
Our first port of call is the Shetland capital of Lerwick. This rugged, enchanting town is gateway to a land of ancient legend, traditional crafts and an incredible abundance of bird-life. Wander the town, or join the excursion to the 3,000-year-old archaeological site at Jarlshof, with its Bronze and Iron Age remains.
Today Marco Polo calls at Olden, the stopping-off point for a shore excursion through more almost unimaginably beautiful countryside to the famous Briksdal Glacier, part of the vast icy mass of the Josterdalsbreen Glacier, which broods over the eastern reaches of the fjord.
Geirangerfjord's twists and turns, marked by several crashing waterfalls, guide us to Hellesylt and then to Geiranger - an ancient and beguiling village in a truly breathtaking setting. Step ashore, perhaps to visit the fascinating Norsk Fjordsenter, which chronicles life in this beautiful place, or to take an unforgettable excursion through the scenery of this glorious fjord.
The tiny village of Flam, at the inner end of Aurlandsfjord, welcomes Azores today. Here you'll have the chance to board the world-famous Flamsbana Mountain Railway for the journey to Myrdal. Later this afternoon, the ship navigates her way into stunning Naeroyfjord where some of fjordland's prettiest scenery awaits.
This morning Azores docks in Bergen - an ancient Hanseatic city of cobbled streets and medieval houses, and birthplace of composer Edvard Grieg. Visit the vibrant harbour and fish market, stroll past the wooden warehouses of Bryggen and take the Floibanen funicular to the summit of 'Mount' Floyen.
Today is spent at sea, no doubt reliving the memories of the past few days as Azores cruises home.
The beautiful island of Mull offers breathtaking scenery, abundant wildlife and a spectacular coastline. The small town of Tobermory, with its picturesque, multi-coloured houses encircling the waterfront, is a delightful place to explore, as is nearby Duart Castle, the famous seat of Clan Maclean.
Bid farewell to Azores, her crew and your fellow passengers as you return to Liverpool and disembark.
Beautiful, 550-passenger MV Azores is every inch the perfect cruise vessel. Originally a Transatlantic liner, now restored and lovingly maintained as a premium-rated cruise ship, Azores is both small enough to offer a friendly atmosphere, and large enough to offer a relaxed environment to ensure your holiday enjoyment. She's every inch the perfect home from home for your memorable cruise holiday.
