Day One

Day Two
Today is spent at sea.
Day Three
Today Discovery docks in "wonderful, wonderful" Copenhagen. Stroll the stylish streets, or enjoy an optional excursion taking in the famous sights, including the famous bronze statuette of the 'Little Mermaid'. Watch the world go by from a harbour-side bar in Nyhavn, and don't miss the sculpted walkways of the world-famous Tivoli Gardens.
Day Four
Spend the day at sea, enjoying Discovery's wonderful range of on-board entertainment.
Day Five
This morning's destination is the wonderful port of Helsinki, where the City Hall overlooks the fresh fish stalls and historic, covered Market Hall in Market Square. Stroll through Esplanade Park, and take in the panoramic views of the city and the sea beyond from the cathedral tower before we set sail once more in the afternoon.
Days Six and Seven
Discovery will spend two days at the docks of St Petersburg, one of the world's most startling, shimmering, glorious cities, with its incomparable Hermitage Museum, its wide canal-side boulevards and its modern 'European' atmosphere. We'll have lots of time in the city, so don't miss our optional excursion to the Tsars' Summer Palace at Petrodvorets, the chance to explore the city's Haymarket, so redolent with scenes from Dostoyevsky's novels, or the opportunity to gaze in awe at the opulence of the Marinsky Theatre, home to the world-renowned Kirov Ballet.
Day Eight
Almost impossibly beautiful, the Estonian capital Tallinn, with its enchanting and virtually pristine Old Town, is one of Europe's most scenic cities. Discover this timeless gem, with its winding cobbled streets of storybook houses, spectacular steepled churches, ancient buildings and Toompea Castle.
Day Nine
Be on deck early this morning as Discovery passes the myriad islands surrounding the Swedish capital, Stockholm. The city itself is built across 14 such islets, and is best explored on foot. One third water, one third city and one third green landscape, Stockholm offers a wonderful mix of historic sights, labyrinthine cobbled streets and fine parks.
Day Ten
Another day spent at sea, under hopefully sunny skies.
Day Eleven
Oslo welcomes Discovery this morning. In the compact centre of the lively, friendly Norwegian capital, you'll be spoilt for things to do. Join an optional shore excursion to the Viking Ships museum, where a trio of ancient craft are lovingly preserved, or to the Kon-Tiki museum, where famed explorer Thor Heyerdahl's fragile craft is on display.
Day Twelve
Today you'll enjoy a final day at sea.
Day Thirteen
Discovery arrives back in Leith at the end of a wonderful Baltic adventure.

MV Discovery
In 2013, 20,000-tonne Discovery sets out on a series of exciting departures from ports around the UK, on her first season of cruises. With her classic profile, eight passenger decks, and accommodation for 700 passengers, Discovery is a smaller ship built in traditional style, and offers the perfect 'home from home' for a memorable holiday.
