Day one

Fly from your selected airport to Italy and transfer to your hotel on Lake Garda.

Day two

Spend the day relaxing at the hotel or exploring Lake Garda and the surrounding area. During your stay, you can choose to join a selection of great-value excursions to many places of interest. Our tour manager will also be happy to suggest places to visit and things to do.

Day three

Venice is one of the world's most beautiful cities. Discover its labyrinth of alleys and waterways, St Mark's square and cathedral, the clock tower, the Doge's palace, the Rialto bridge and the Palace of Prisons and the Bridge of Sighs, on our optional excursion.

Day four

On today's half-day optional excursion we explore Verona, the historic backdrop for the tragic tale of "Juliet and her Romeo", and home to the opera season held yearly in its Roman amphitheatre. Explore, then take a seat in an open-air cafe in Piazza Bra to watch the world go by.

Day five

Join us for an optional, full-day, sightseeing tour through some of Europe's most dramatic mountain scenery. Our journey includes the Val Rendena, the Adamello glacier and Brenta Dolomites, as well as the Val di Genova, and you'll be able to take in the panoramic views on an optional cable-car ride.

Day six

Today's optional Grand Circular tour of Lake Garda, by coach and steamer, is a great way to enjoy the area's scenery and to explore some of the lakeside resorts.

Day seven

Another day at leisure by Lake Garda.

Day eight

Transfer back to the airport for check-in and your flight home.

Riva Hotel

The elegant Riva Hotel enjoys a picturesque lakeside setting right in the heart of the historic centre of Riva. The resort's shops, bars and restaurants are right on its doorstep, and the ferry point, from which many boat trips are taken, is less than a five-minute walk away.

Hotel Garda Bellevue

Ideally situated in a very good location, this hotel is close to the water's edge, and to the many shops, bars and restaurants that line the resort's promenade.

Hotel Europa

This friendly, family run hotel enjoys glorious views over Limone and the lake, and the centre is just 300 metres away - a short but quite steep walk through the picturesque narrow streets.

Hotel Angellini

This family-run, three-star hotel is located on the edge of Torbole, very close to the lake and approximately 10 minutes on foot from the centre.

The hotel offers a bar and lounge area, 24-hour reception, garden and terrace. There is an outdoor swimming pool and sunbathing area with free use of the sun beds and umbrellas. The restaurant serves good, traditional food, which includes a buffet breakfast and waiter-served evening meals, with a choice of menu and a full salad bar. Hotel Royal Village

The popular Hotel Royal Village is situated above the resort of Limone, roughly a 10-minute walk uphill from the lake and the town centre, in the heart of a 10-acre olive grove.

The hotel has two outdoor swimming pools and one indoor swimming pool, a sun-terrace, and a choice of restaurants, bars and lounges. Evening entertainment is held on three nights each week (June-September), and complimentary wine and water is served with dinner each evening. A shuttle bus runs from the hotel to the centre of the resort (small charge payable locally).The rooms, some of which are in seperate buildings in the hotel's extensive gardens, offer private facilities, mini-bars, satellite TV, balconies or terraces and telephones. Drago Hotel

This very popular hotel is situated beside Lake Garda, about three miles south of Malcesine and less than a mile from Assenza di Brenzone. Regular bus services connect the hotel to the resort and to other areas dotted around the lake.

A stylish hotel, the Drago has a fine restaurant and bar, beautiful gardens and an outdoor swimming pool and sun terrace.The bedrooms are located in two separate buildings, and all offer private facilities, telephones and balconies. With just 45 rooms, the attractive Portici Hotel offers friendly and personal service. It is located very close to the lake, right in the historic heart of Riva del Garda.

There is also a wellness centre, which offers a heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, massage, Jacuzzi and a very wide selection of beauty treatments. This very popular hotel is situated in a quiet area of the modern part of Riva, approximately 300 metres from the lakeside promenade and marina. There is a selection of shops, bars and restaurants close by, and Riva's historic centre is approximately twenty minutes away.

The hotel boasts two swimming pools, one heated indoor and one outdoor, a sun terrace, a garden, a bar and lounge area, a reception, two lifts and a piano bar. Complimentary tea, coffee and cakes are served each day as well as a half bottle of wine and water per person with dinner. This fine, family-run hotel is situated just across the road from the lake, approximately four and a half miles south of Malcesine, and less than half a mile from the centre of the small resort of Porto di Brenzone. A regular public bus service runs along the lake and connects the hotel with the other resorts in the area. The views from the hotel are quite spectacular.

This excellent new edition to the Blu hotels group is ideally situated in the heart of historic Riva. The shops, bars and restaurants are on the doorstep, and the lake is a two-minute walk away.

The hotel boasts an outdoor swimming pool, which is situated in a quiet area in the hotel garden, a reception area, a breakfast room where continental breakfast is served each day, a lift and a small bar area. Hotel Malcesine

This popular hotel enjoys a wonderful lakeside position, right in the heart of this fine resort. Shops, bars and a very good selection of restaurants are all within the immediate area.

All Azzurro Hotel

This very popular hotel is ideally located right on the lakeside, next to the ferry landing stage in the historic heart of the resort. Limone's bars, shops and restaurants are right on the doorstep.

Hotel Sole

This friendly and welcoming hotel is located in the centre of Riva del Garda, making it the ideal base from which to explore this historical resort. There is a selection of bars and restaurants nearby as well as an interesting array of shops.

La Perla

This good standard, three-star hotel is located in the modern part of Riva del Garda, approximately 150 metres from the lakefront and a 10-15 minute walk along the lakeside promenade from the resort's historic centre. A good selection of bars, shops and cafes is very close by.

Hotel Continental

Enjoying an elevated position, close to the village of Nago, this bright, modern family-run hotel offers a good standard of service and facilities. Situated in a quiet area less than two miles from Torbole and the lake, the hotel offers easy access to the resort's shops, bars and restaurants. A regular public bus service operates to the lake, and the hotel offers a free shuttle bus twice a day.

Hotel Geier

The Hotel Geier is ideally situated in the heart of Torbole, very close to the resort's many shops, bars and restaurants.

The hotel has a bar and lounge area, a restaurant, a reception and a lift.All of the bedrooms have private facilities, telephones and TV.

Piccolo Mondo

This charming hotel, which is owned and managed by the Chiesa family, is very well known for its high standard of cuisine. The family own one of the best restaurants in nearby Trento and the delicious regional specialities served in the hotel's restaurant are every bit as good as those served in their award-winning restaurant. The hotel is situated approximately five minutes walk from the centre of Torbole.

Hotel Alexander

Completely renovated in 2008, this four-star hotel is situated in an excellent position, a pleasant five-minute stroll from the lake and the centre of Limone. There is a good selection of shops, restaurants and bars close by.

Antonella

The friendly, family-run Antonella is just 500 metres from the centre of Malcesine, and sits above the lakeside road, offering fine views of the lake, especially from its sunny roof-top terrace. All the resort's amenities are just a short stroll from the hotel, as is the Monte Baldo funicular.

The hotel's outdoor swimming pool and sun terrace are a focal point for lazy days. A pleasant bar and lounge area, a roof-top terrace and table-tennis for friendly competition add to a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. The hotel also has a lift.The simply furnished but comfortable rooms have private facilities, telephones and satellite TV. We thought that we should write and say what a good time we had and what good value the holiday represented. We stayed at the Hotel Roiyal and all of the staff were excellent. The dinner that they produced on Christmas day evening was superb in our view. Overall a great break and we will recommend it to all of our friends.
