The cities we visited were fascinating and we felt there was a good balance between organised walks and talks, and free time to do our own thing.

While the pace of the tour was pretty hectic, we enjoyed ourselves immensely and this was largely due to the excellent, well planned and thoughtful arrangements made by your company. In particular we would like to single out our tour manager, Susan, whose experience, good organisational skills, local knowledge, caring persona and general good humour made the tour something special. We would also mention our local guide, Mayank Dixit, whose wide knowledge of all things Indian - culture, history, religions, geography etc. added greatly to our general enjoyment. We feel we know India rather better than we might have done with other organisations.

Normandy by Eurostar - Riviera Travel
Our tour guide Kay was fantastic. She was always there to help at the right moment and had time for everyone in the group. We also had a great driver, Franky, who was helpful and very kind to the more elderly members of the group. The included excursions were excellent and there seemed to be something to suit everyone. My son really enjoyed the Bayeaux tapestry and the trip to Arromanches and the museum there. My husband thought Honfleur was a beautiful town, and thoroughly enjoyed the unexpected bonus we had on our last morning of an optional river cruise on the Seine in Paris. Our whole family enjoyed our Normandy break and we are certainly planning to book another holiday with Riviera soon.

Lake Como, St. Moritz & The Bernina Express - Riviera Travel
I wanted to say we had a wonderful holiday on Lake Como.we were on the tour. We stayed at the Grand Hotel Cadenabbia which was excellent. The food was very good , the bedroom was nicely decorated and very clean . Really we couldn't fault it. Deborah our tour guide was lovely and very helpful. Thank you even the lady who took our booking was really pleasant so we would like to say thank you to all of you. Believe me I am not known for being effusive.

Classic Greece - Riviera Travel
I am writing to say that, in spite of the problems in Greece - strikes, rubbish etc - we had a very good experience. The credit for this goes, in our view, largely to your tour manager/tour guide Anton. He was really splendid in the way he rearranged the tour in the face of strikes, kept us informed and in good humour, gave us the right type and amount of information and kept his talking to the right level and amount. You have a great asset in him and I could hear people in the tour wanting to book other tours led by him!
